| I discovered Latin Ska today. It was Good. Does anyone else get the urge to learn how to tango when they listen to good latin music..? | | |
| Good news: I've been on a roll landing contracts lately. Just got one in for $5k, drafting up another for $1,200, and there's a third one pending for $8k. (Note: It's not as much money as it seems)
Anyway, I find I'm totally screwing up as far as time management goes. School? Check. Work? Check. Sleep? What sleep?
I've gotten into the bad habit of waking up at 8AM and going to sleep at 3 ~ 4AM. Insomnia since daylight savings isn't helping, either.
| I've been feeling ridiculously blissful today, despite the fact I have two finals tomorrow and the day after, a new semester next week, no real plans for V-day, and a near-empty bank account.
My periodic bursts of inner peace amaze me from time to time, I'd probably a lot more stressed if I wasn't in such a good mood.
| 2.6 times the speed of a normal semester × 8 units = 20.8 unit semester equivalent
That may or may not explain why most of you guys may not have heard much from me (or Katrina) lately. PCC winter intercessions are intense, and the fact that it's so much material in such little time does little to encourage social activity.
A quick overview of my last two weeks: Last week, Thursday: history midterm (1 of 3) This week, Thursday: political science midterm Coming Monday: history midterm (2 of 3) Coming Thursday: 5 page political science paper
That's more or less been the pace of things so far, and we're about 3 of 6 weeks in, so I won't need to put up with it for too long. Sad thing is, the proper spring semester starts the week immediately after my finals. As many of you in the college scene are aware, the first week is always hell week. I'm just glad I've had my classes registered since November.
I'm actually enjoying myself (really). Does this contribute at all to the ongoing theory of me being a masochist in denial?
